Not all interesting pictures from the loch have to involve the monster. I took this from outside the Urquhart Castle Cafe a few days ago.
So I have returned from a few busy days at the loch and will write up a report once I have processed various files.
POSTSCRIPT
Artist Jack Rumney was painting the castle around the same time, so here's his tasteful rendition of the castle from the opposite side.
Beautiful picture. I swear I saw part of the same rainbow on the left side of the camera angle on "Nessie on the Net". I'm not sure if the camera is located by Urquart Bay, but I think it is!
ReplyDeleteIt's above Urquhart Bay, so it is possible you saw the rainbow. I saw my rainbow on Saturday about mid-late afternoon as I recall.
DeleteThank you for sharing the photo, and thank you, as always, for your wonderful work on this blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and haunting. Thanks.

Cool as well but I counted at least 12 humps. Unless it is a string of monsters in formation, when such a large number of humps is involved it is more likely standing waves.
DeleteI would also apply the same argument to a sighitng at Loch Ness. I am more comfortable with three or four at the most humps.
yes a lot of sights there too..crazy
ReplyDeleteanyway something of more or less "unknown" is defenetley lurking in a quite compelling number of body waters around the globe..this is real
thx AE
