  1. Nice one, thanks for posting this Roland. To me, if the Highlands want more visitors then this is the easiest and cheapest way to achieve that.

  2. A couple of years ago there was a petition by Change.org to change the national coat of arms of Scotland from the unicorn and lion to a stylized image of the LNM. I don't think that went over very well. I wonder how this proposal will go. Not to good, I suspect. At least they don't want to call it The Inverness Loch Ness “Monster” Airport. Somethings just aren't meant for change, nor should they.

  3. I made my comment before checking the Twitter poll final results. Overwhelmingly a big No. Yes: 22% No: 78% Just as I would have thought.

  5. I personally think this should be a decision entirely left to the residents of Inverness. While I have a keen interest in Loch Ness, I can understand why people might not want their city airport renamed to include a body of water.
