Carcass at Loch Ness

Just saw this on Facebook. The things you find at Loch Ness (I think this is Dores beach). Apparently there is some filming going on there and it looks like someone made a visit to the local abbatoir. As explained in a previous posting, scenarios such as this are not likely due to the loch's topography and chemistry.

The Daily Record catches up with the story here.

Steve Feltham also reports from the scene by video here.

Details about the TV drama series behind this publicity stunt can be found here.

Meanwhile, what is this that has just been photographed at the London Docks? Was it the cause of the previous humps videos? Going by the photos I have seen it looks about three to four foot long.

  1. Looks like someone puked up a Plesiosaur.

  2. Nice try. Love the intestines! It would actually look OK were it not for those.
The London hump video was a bit sus. Looking at the object then looking away again. It looked massive, given the small focal length of an iPhone, I'm just wondering why a lot of these cryptid videographers never seem to hold the image for any more than a shaky few seconds......
But the croc (?) photo is interesting. Must find out more.

  5. Filming has finished. The new 6 part drama called 'loch ness' airs next spring.

Nessie doesn't feature, it's a murder mystery. I think the Nessie thing was just the crew having a laugh with their crime scene once filming was finished.

They've also done some filming in Foyers and Fort Augustus.

    1. Sounds like a "Shetland" spin off.

    2. That's what I thought too.

Shetland was really good, so here's hoping 'Loch Ness' matches up.

Bound to be some Nessie reference in there somewhere. You can't have a prog called Loch Ness without doffing the cap in some form.

    3. Thank you for that. We may have had a sighting rarer than that of Nessie : the Mail writing the news......
