I was in Drum just a few hours ago on the way down to the Fort. Wanted to show my little one Viperfish, but we didn't bother going into the shop on this occasion. Just had a quick look at the sub for posterity and then jumped back in the car again.

It's been pretty miserable weather here today, as you'll know firsthand. Lots of standing water on the A82 between Drum and the Fort, along with some major roadworks just before Altsaigh. The hostel car park there was heaving though- have never seen it so busy. Must've had something on. Made me think back to what it must've been like at the time when it was the Halfway House. It's not entirely clear from the accounts which graveyard is meant though because the main one is set quite a ways back from the loch. There are a few interesting people buried there- the former piermaster from Temple Pier for one and Richard Frere for another.Border Rangerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08637616603071773115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-358999656752738469.post-91270596008093614422020-02-14T12:05:40.840-08:002020-02-14T12:05:40.840-08:00Well I believe I remember reading about a land sig...Well I believe I remember reading about a land sighting somewhere around a cemetery at Drumnadrochit sometime around the turn of the century?
