Not really. No one can even show me a bona fide sonar hit of a seal let alone the more elusive Nessie.<br /><br />One thing you are right on, it is difficult to photograph. I was given to thinking they were a dead cert, given the fact that a lot of the 70s expeditions returned with data. It would be interesting if someone captured a 3D image using the newer technology, if that can be achieved with a moving object. <br />As for the 'salmon', it reminds me of sightings by the diver in the 1800s of the 'frog as big as a goat', and also a sighting in Morar of a large amphibian type creature, looking out of the water, and maybe the 'eye' sighting one of your contributors had. They were described as onscreen being " red and the size of one third an adult baby finger " this was on the monitor display.<br />For 30 years I have believed in nessie but I find the lack of evidence discouraging. Strong eyewitness reports yes but not one good clear photo of a large unidentified animal or a portion of one.<br />Once I was certain something or a small population of large animals called Loch Ness home but now it's looking more like a myth.....
